A tribute to the legendary and GOAT Muhammad Ali. This Carrera is based off the early 1957 Heuer Ring Master.
Up until the early 1980’s boxers like Ali had 15 rounds in a bout. Due to serious safety concerns this was then changed to what we know now being 12 rounds bouts. As this is a tribute to Ali it has the correct 15 rounds of 3 minutes with 1 minute breaks and these can be timed on the outer red ring and operated by the second crown at 10pm. The inner track showing 2 minute rounds was for amateur bouts.
Muhammad Ali’s signature can be found at the bottom of the dial, complemented by a special engraving of the legend on the caseback. This blue-dial version is a very limited run of 1000 pieces so this will be a hard one to find again in this condition!
