More Than a Watch. A Story Worth Wearing.

Robin Henry Watches officially began in February 2021, but the story started much earlier.

My interest in watches began in 2010 when I inherited my late grandfather’s watch. Until then, I’d admired watches, but owning something that had travelled through another person’s life changed the way I looked at them forever.

That watch wasn’t simply a way of telling the time. It represented engineering, craftsmanship and art, but above all it represented a life. The people who had seen it, the places it had travelled, and the memories it quietly carried. It made me realise that the very best watches become more than possessions. They’re the vessels that preserve moments in time and are passed from one generation to the next.

That fascination quickly became an obsession. I spent years buying, selling, collecting and studying watches privately, learning what separates an exceptional example from an average one, and why originality, condition and provenance matter so much.

I built a successful career in the corporate world, but in 2020 everything changed. After losing my close friend, Andy, I realised life was too short not to pursue something I genuinely loved. That became the catalyst for creating Robin Henry Watches, which officially launched in February 2021.

The goal was simple.

To create the luxury watch specialist that the Channel Islands deserved.

For years, buyers across Guernsey and Jersey had little choice beyond general jewellers. I wanted to create a business built on knowledge, honesty and personal service, where every watch was chosen because I genuinely believed in it.

That philosophy remains exactly the same today.

Robin Henry Watches specialises in luxury vintage, neo vintage, pre owned and unworn watches from brands including Rolex, Cartier and Omega. Every watch is personally sourced, inspected and offered with complete transparency. We also provide servicing, insurance valuations, specialist advice and part exchange, helping clients enjoy and protect their watches for years to come.

Although founded in Guernsey, Robin Henry Watches has always served the whole of the Channel Islands equally. Today we work with clients across Guernsey and Jersey while buying, selling and shipping luxury watches worldwide.

From our showroom inside Martin & Martin on Guernsey’s High Street, clients can view watches in person, discuss servicing, insurance valuations, selling or part exchange, or simply enjoy talking watches. As Guernsey’s only dedicated luxury watch specialist, we’re uniquely able to purchase your watch outright or offer a same day part exchange against stock.

The ambition has never been to become the biggest watch dealer.

It has always been to become the one people trust.

As the business continues to grow, that commitment remains unchanged: to source exceptional watches, build lasting relationships and offer the kind of personal service that’s becoming increasingly rare.
