Robin Henry Watches was created to offer an alternative to how luxury watches were being sold in the Channel Islands.

For many years, buyers in Guernsey had limited access to specialist knowledge and were often forced to look abroad, rely on general jewellers, or navigate anonymous online dealers. The aim from the outset was simple: curate fewer watches, source better examples, and offer complete transparency at every stage of the process.

Buying a luxury watch should feel considered and enjoyable, not uncertain or overwhelming. This business exists to remove that uncertainty and replace it with confidence.

The business may have been founded in 2021, but its roots go back much further.

My interest in watches developed over many years, driven by a fascination with mechanical design, history, and the idea of owning something built to last. Over time, that interest became a deeper understanding of what truly matters when buying a watch, beyond brand names or trends.

Before launching Robin Henry Watches, I spent years buying, selling, and studying watches privately. That experience exposed the shortcomings of much of the market and shaped the way this business operates today.

What began as a small, focused operation grew naturally through recommendation. As clients returned and referred friends, Robin Henry Watches became Guernsey’s only dedicated luxury vintage and pre owned watch specialist, built on trust rather than advertising or scale.

This approach means stock levels are intentionally limited, but it also means every watch offered has been chosen for a reason, not simply to fill space on a website.

If a watch does not excite me, I will not sell it.
