The Cartier Santos was generally recognised as THE first mens wrist watch. Louis Cartier created the watch for the famous Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos Dumont so he could tell the time easily while flying.The rest is history and the iconic design lives on to today with only subtle design updates. Cartier has been enjoying a huge resurgence in its watchmaking department and there's a reason, they have designed some of the most iconic wristwatches in history and the Santos is where it all started.
The bracelet has a quick release system to allow you to change to a Cartier strap, of which one is also included unused. The adjustment to the links on the bracelet is the best in the business, no tools needed to add or remove links!
