THE Bond watch to end all Bond watches. Made famous by Pierce Brosnan as 007 when he wore the Quartz version in 1995’s Goldeneye, the blue Seamaster 300m instantly became a permanent landmark in watch collecting.
This reference came into play two years later in 1997’s Tomorrow Never Dies when Bond upgraded to the automatic chronometer version. This remained 007’s watch of choice for the remainder of Brosnan’s tenure before Daniel Craig’s Bond updated his watch again to the co-axial 2220.80.00 reference of the same model.
