The hesalite crystal and case shape are direct nods to the exact reference Buzz Aldrin wore on the namesake moon landing. The updated bracelet has been unanimously well-received with a more ergonomic feel and a visual design that both complements the curves of the Speedmaster case and hearkens back to the bracelet that held the watch to Buzz’s wrist on that fateful day, it also benefits from an updated and slimmer clasp. The newly developed Caliber 3861 is based around Omega’s Co-Axial escapement and boasts ‘Master Chronometer’ certification.
