This is a beautiful vintage Tudor Prince Oysterdate with the small rose signing on the dial. The reference number is 7966 and the serial number dates the watch to 1964. This is a classic sports watch from the period at a fraction of the price of a Rolex Oyster, with the case, crown and many other parts having commonality between the models.
The radially brushed silver dial has a beautiful sunburst in the light which catches the eye very well and draws many compliments. The 12, 6, 9 hour markers are a silver base rectangle with a gold applied strip in the centre. These are a very nice feature which balances the watch with the original magnified date window. The watch has its original Alpha style hands in excellent condition.
