One of the youngest names in the Rolex lineup - the Yacht-Master has has come to be known as the up market luxury version of the Submariner. It was initially conceived as the Crown’s entry into the luxury market, a flashier, shinier take on the tool watches of old, the Yacht-Master was misunderstood for several years until, suddenly one day, they were so popular you couldn’t get one at all.
What makes this discontinued model desirable is the platinum dial and platinum bezel. Rolex had not done this before on a steel model watch and certainly not at that price point.
