The Iconic Legacy
Panerai has never really played by the same rules as other Swiss watchmakers.
Its identity was forged through the oversized instruments produced for the Italian Navy, and when those military designs eventually found their way onto civilian wrists, Panerai created an aesthetic that was almost impossible to confuse with anything else.
The PAM00423 captures that philosophy particularly well. Its 47mm Luminor 1950 case, locking crown guard and sandwich dial all draw heavily from the historic Panerai blueprint, while the in-house P.3002 movement gives you three days of power reserve with the remaining reserve displayed directly on the dial.
