Few watches need less introduction than the Rolex Submariner. Created in 1953 as a professional diving watch, it has evolved over more than seven decades into arguably the most recognisable luxury sports watch in the world.
The 116613LB arrived as part of an important new generation of Submariner. It retained the classic 40mm dimensions, but introduced the more substantial case architecture, ceramic Cerachrom bezel and upgraded bracelet and clasp that moved the Submariner firmly into the modern era.
And in blue Rolesor form, it became something quite different from the traditional black Submariner.
